Default ⌥⇧X — customize to whatever you want. Press it, and the frontmost window becomes a PIP.
Survives space switches
Unlike other PIP tools, the mirror keeps updating even when the source app is on another Space. No freezing, no black frames.

Resizable, draggable, and floats over fullscreen apps. Tuck it into a corner while you focus on something else.
Remembers where you put it
Each window's PIP position and size is persisted, so it pops back exactly where you left it the next time you pin it.
Tunable frame rate
Choose 1, 12, 25, or 60 fps per PIP. Low fps for monitoring, high fps for video.

How the magic works
macOS stops updating a window the moment it's off-screen — so a naive PIP would freeze when you switch spaces. PIPin solves this with a trick:
- A private virtual display is created in the background, off in its own coordinate space.
- When you pin a window, PIPin moves it onto that display. macOS still considers it visible, so the source app keeps rendering.
- A live mirror of that window floats on your real desktop, always on top, always up-to-date.
- When you're done, PIPin restores the window to its original place — exactly where it was.
